You and I are cut from the same cloth, Michael! I would absolutely do the same. I’m grateful to be in a world with so much delicious Loire Cabernet Franc, and for it to be affordable as well. 😊
Have an amazing time in the Loire Allison! Sooo jealous. And I think you're spot on that we underestimate the ageing potential of Cab Franc, they can do it so well - including bottles that are not expensive.

Welcome! I tasted some 80-70’s recently from the region, there was still a really nice fruity profil. Love it
